About Me:

Hello!

My name is Amudalat Ajasa!

I am a senior journalism major with minors in meteorology and global studies at Hofstra University. I am currently interning with The Guardian. I was previously the newsroom correspondent interning at The Spokesman-Recorder newspaper in Minnesota —the oldest Black newspaper in the state--  and have freelanced with Minnesota's Star Tribune. I spent eight months investigating and reporting with News21 out of the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University. When I’m not interning and freelancing, I'm broadcasting as the National News Anchor on Hofstra Today, writing for The Hofstra Chronicle or doing in-depth investigating as the Identity, Race and Gender editor for The Hofstra Clocktower. I hope you enjoy looking at my work!
